As we approach National Allergy Awareness Week today we're looking at how 12 million people are allergic to their own homes! They're suffering from what's been dubbed 'Home Fever' with symptoms which can often be confused with the common cold or hay fever- a runny nose and sneezing. As we approach Depression Awareness Week, attention is focused on the inconsistencies between the number of depression sufferers across the UK and the staggering number of prescriptions being given out by GPs. Concerns have been raised that that Doctors have become far too reliant on such an easy way of dealing with their patients and other, more natural options are being sidelined. Despite many sufferers finding them much more effective as a suppliment in order to cope with their illness....

In line with our ever-increasing life spans, with men’s life expectancy now reaching 78 years and women’s 82, we're doing everything in our power to combat the signs of ageing. Some are going under the knife. Others are injecting their face with Botox in a bid to freeze the ageing process (and accidentally their facial expressions!). But the majority of us are relying on face creams and anti-ageing products that claim to perform all sorts of miracles. In fact,...

A brand new investigation has revealed nearly two thirds of low income earners in the UK are missing out on benefits because they don't know they're entitled to claim or they don't feel misfortunate enough to deserve extra money! In fact it's been uncovered that they could be claiming the equivalent of an average family's weekly spend on rent, fuel and power bills - almost three and a half thousand pounds every year (over £60 a week) has been revealed as the average amount that people, who...

We're talking about 'Big Data.' Never heard of it? Me neither. But learning about it is fascinating stuff.... The ability of our country's supermarkets, banks and a wealth of other companies to monitor our activity is staggering - and it's serving to benefit us the most. By using the 'explosion of information' being created by all of us on a daily basis - from sharing photos and videos on social media to shopping online - it's allowing companies and the government to understand us as consumers...

Are you sitting at your desk drinking a sports drink but have done absolutely no exercise this morning? If the answer to that was 'yes,' then you should probably stop. Now. Research out today has shown that, despite being targeted at people doing high endurance exercise - 11 million Brits are still drinking sports drinks unnecessarily. And its not just the inactive who are turning to fizz over water, with most people heading off to the gym without their water bottle... So if you're a culprit...

As the digital age evolves, new frustrations develop and new research released today shows that one in ten of us have become so angry with our computers that we have physically attacked our machine because it runs to slowly; in fact half of us admit to regularly shouting and swearing at our PCs! But the solution to this isn't to splash out on a new computer - IT experts say its a matter of DIY! Despite 90% of Brits being happy to redecorate our homes, less than half of us would consider...
