Do you talk to your pet more than your partner? Well, new research by MORE TH>N Pet Insurance has shown that you are not alone, with the majority of us pet owners admitting to sharing our deepest darkest secrets with our furry friends.
But they say a problem shared is a problem halved, so no matter what you're talking to - be it plant, dog, hamster, snail, parrot - it's healthy to unburden.

I'm in the studio with the lovely Tina Malone (who incidentally plays my fave character in Shameless - Mimi Maguire). Tina has lost a whopping 10 stone in 2 years, she's gone from a size 28 to a size 8 - thanks to a strong sense of self-discipline in conjunction with having a gastric band fitted, and Tina's on air today revealing that 60% of the population support NHS funded weight loss surgery and that 1 in 3 of us would consider weight loss surgery.
Weight loss surgery is not an easy solution...

Today students sex lives have been laid bare with the release of a brand new report which reveals which Universities are at it the most - and which course you're likely to be studying for if you're willing to miss lectures for a quickie!
But with two thirds of students admitting to having unprotected sex and half of females having taken the morning after pill - are students being careful enough when it comes to their sexual health?
Oliver Brann from Student Beans joins us in the studio this...
Findings from a YouGov online survey shows that the British public wants official forms like tax returns or council tax to be easier to understand and less complicated.
The 'Communicating with the Citizen' report commissioned by SAS UK & Ireland, out this morning, suggests we may not be getting the best return for our taxes as government isn't communicating as effectively as it could be with the public.
Over half of people felt that the use of simplistic language in documentation and the...
In studio this morning talking about the impact living with epilepsy has on young people in school with Epilepsy Action.
Almost 40% of British teachers feel pupils with epilepsy aren't achieving results in line with their peers and new research by the leading charity shows both parents and teachers think that's because children with the condition aren't being fully supported by schools.
Epilepsy Action are calling on both parents and teachers, this National Epilepsy Week, to work together to...
As a self-confessed tea pot, I'm very happy to be in the studio with specialist tea historian and writer, Jane Pettigrew.
For the first time ever, we can reveal the 'Tea League Table' - the best (and worst!) places in the UK to make a brew.
Places like Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle and Wolverhamptom are brewing up a storm... whereas Bristol, Southampton, London (boo hoo), Northampton and Cambridge have gone to [tea]pot as far as a cuppa's concerned.
Why is this? Well, it's not...

As William Hague announced in an interview yesterday that working harder is the only growth strategy for UK buisnesses, business champions IBM are advising the country's SME's that actually, 'working smarter' could be the answer.
This morning we're with Simon Porter, a Vice President at IBM, who's telling us that, by introducing cloud computing and enabling greater mobility in the workforce, employees can work on the move - freeing up resources and saving money.
And Mustaq Chandia, Director...

We're in the studio today with small business investment expert and entrepreneur James Badgett from the Angel Investment Network.
He's talking about how small companies and start-ups can find investment to grow - and hopefully become the big businesses of the future!
There's plenty of opportunity out there for growing companies to find investment, and perhaps looking to sources other than simply the big banks is the way forward.
Don't be put off by the current financial climate, fascinatingly,...
Today marks the start of National Flea Month... but before you get all itchy at the thought, also kicking off is - duh duh duuuh - the Pet Champions! Much more exciting!
And to both celebrate our pets and to raise awareness of National Flea Month - I'm in the studio with Merial Animal Health & Atomic Kitten and pet lover Jenny Frost...
We're talking about the ways to treat your animal should they become infested with those pesky critters... and research has shown that a shocking 35% of us...
Today I'm joined in the studio by Michael Thomas and James Glover, discussing the Simplyhealth Annual Dental Survey 2012 - which is now in it's seventh year and surveyed almost 12,000 people.
It's revealed that 54% of Brits say they are worried about being able to afford the dentist in the future, and one in ten have left is so long between check ups that they are worried the cost will have gotten too high. Despite availability to NHS dentists improving over the past year, it is now cost that...
