Brits Worry About Being Able to Afford the Dentist in Future

Today I'm joined in the studio by Michael Thomas and James Glover, discussing the Simplyhealth Annual Dental Survey 2012 - which is now in it's seventh year and surveyed almost 12,000 people.
It's revealed that 54% of Brits say they are worried about being able to afford the dentist in the future, and one in ten have left is so long between check ups that they are worried the cost will have gotten too high. Despite availability to NHS dentists improving over the past year, it is now cost that is the number one barrier to the dentist.
The advice is to keep going to the dentist, and hopefully nip any long term problems in the bud before they become too big and expensive to deal with.
So, looking at the research results - will we really have much to smile about in the future?
