It has come to my attention through the ethos that is twitter that our friends at Bolton FM, a community station in the North West, are having a competition where listeners can vote for their favourite presenter.
Without a doubt, our vote from IMN has to go to the superstar that is Kevan Williams! Every interview he does is engaging and interesting, and he could definitely give Paxman a run for his money!
So everyone should get on the emails and vote for our number one Bolton FM presenter......
This morning, I had a chat with David Levene - a producer from talkSPORT radio. I picked his brains for a while about what he does, his favourite interviews and how he got into the radio industry. He had some very interesting things to say! Have a listen to find out more.

It’s no surprise to many of us that we Brits take a while to plan our Al fresco soirees and with a rare gap in the cloud recently our BBQ planning has definitely been put on the back burner. However it’s about time we embraced our unpredictable weather and added some spontaneity to our lives! Jo Pratt, hailed as the new Nigella Lawson and drinks expert Suzanne O’Hara from Freixenet couldn’t agree more. They give us all the advice, recipes and tipple ideas we need to throw a fabulous impromptu...

Where did you begin your broadcast career?
I helped set up Hospital Radio at Macclesfield District General Hospital in 1978. I worked on O/B’s with Signal and Piccadilly in my teens and was involved from the outset 20 years ago with Commercial Station Silk FM. I parted company with them in 2004 and...
Today I am sat in the studio talking about a subject that I can relate to 100% - feeling the fear of having to wear a bikini on the beach on your holidays.
We're talking about how a third of women (me included) crash diet before going on holiday in order to get trim for the beach and how we start piling on the pounds whilst still sprawled out on the sun lounger with cosmo in hand....
Although I do admit to stressing out at the thought of parading about in my bikini, all fear tends to leave me...
We had a tour around the ITV studios this morning thanks to ITN Productions. It was great to meet the team and find out what happens behind the scenes.
We met Sangeeta Kandola (a reporter for ITV) who explained the ins and outs of reading the news – what a lovely lady who still looked glamorous despite starting her shift at 9pm the previous day!
