  News Hooks:

As we learn that over half (54%) of the British population dream of owning their own business or becoming their own boss, a new report has shown the fears that are holding us back.
Despite being part of the twenty first century of e-Britain, technology and computer worries still come in as one of the top concerns, with one in five (21%) thinking they have no technical skills or knowledge. That comes behind the 39% who are concerned about the risk involved and unsurprisingly over half (59%) are worried about money.
But despite fears over technology and losing money, three quarters of Brits (75%) think it is possible to juggle running a home and bringing up children with running a small successful business – with this figure raising to nine in ten women (89%), showing that the fairer sex could be taking their technology fears in hand and leading the revolution from their homes.
The elder generation often presume they are out of the technology loop, and this is reflected in the fact that a third (33%) of over 55s have put off starting their own business because they thought they were too old. On the flip side, despite being slaves to social media, a quarter (26%) of 18-24 year olds think they are too young to transfer these skills into business.
