After finding out how the UK spent a cool billion pounds on toys last Christmas1, how would you like to be one of the first radio stations in the UK to find out what the hottest toys of Christmas 2012 will be?

Well, January 24th sees the start of the 59th Annual Toy Fair – the time when ALL the leading toy people come together to unveil the ‘big things’ they’ve been developing for this year; and you can broadcast from there, live, without leaving the comfort of your own studio!

Using IMN’s exclusive radio studio, we’re giving you the people who can break the big news to your listeners and unveil the winners of Toy Fair Best New Toys before anyone else finds out; and although we’re not allowed to tell you too much, we’re pretty sure we can let you know there’ll be new Ben 10, Hello Kitty and Doctor Who toys on show – plus some old school giants like Scalextric, Winnie the Pooh and Fireman Sam are back in action too!

Play is an incredibly integral part to our society as we know it – it’s vital for children’s development, with parents realising how a lack of play can have a negative effect on communication (64%), ability to make friends (57%), imagination (51%) and confidence (56%).
