. Introduction:

New research reveals that 85% of men who have not had a vasectomy admit they are unlikely to ever consider having the procedure done, this despite 79% of all men saying that contraception is not a woman's responsibility.

There are still many myths surrounding vasectomies as the research uncovered that 8% of men wrongly believe it could lead to impotence and 3% think it can give men a higher tone of voice.

Encouragingly 48% of men agree that having a vasectomy can lead to more enjoyable sex because it removes the fear of your partner becoming pregnant. Yet confidence issues still arise as two in five men (41%) would feel embarrassed during the procedure and 10% think it would make them less of a man.

So is there any truth behind the myths surrounding Vasectomies?
