. Introduction:

Research has revealed just how green offices in the UK really are. Despite spending a third of our lives at work, the research reveals that three quarters of office workers feel they are more environmentally friendly at home than in the workplace. Even though most office workers believe that being environmentally responsible at work makes a big impact on the environment, less than 10% of recyclable office waste actually gets recycled. It seems that UK offices simply don’t have the facilities or authority to make a difference despite wanting to.

So how can we empower UK office workers to make a difference?

Joining us in the studio is Ian Byrne from the National Energy Foundation and Green Office ambassador, Sophie Paley.
