The annual task of finding your loved one a Valentine’s present has come round once again and cupid’s arrow aims to dazzle.

Men and women have very different views when it comes to being romantic, and it seems men truly are from Mars and women from Venus with husbands and boyfriends actually thinking they are being romantic when they let their partner watch their favourite soap on TV, do the ironing and clear up after themselves.

Six out of ten men believe they know their wife or girlfriend inside out, but 30% did not know their bra size and 27% have bought their partner’s clothes or underwear in the wrong size which has caused arguments in more than a third of relationships.

With men stumbling through relationships blindly, many potential recipients may be set up for disappointment with the majority of blokes thinking big Bridget Jones style pants, cliché chocs’ or wilted petrol station flowers are a good Valentine’s gift. So, what are this year’s top tips for dazed and confused men?
