Taking part in a hobby may have previously seemed like little more than a way to fill time, but new research has revealed that it can in fact provide huge benefits to your health, improving both mental and physical fitness. Doctors are even supporting the theory, with one in twenty people having already been told to take up a hobby by their GP.
And it seems hobbies are making a comeback amongst all ages with 93% of people already participating, or considering doing so.
