  News Hooks:

New research has revealed that Brits are spending an extra £365 per person on holiday as the rising cost of living hits. Almost a third of holidaymakers believe they will spend more on holiday this year, with 32 per cent believing the extra expense is due to rising inflation.

Not all holidaymakers can afford a more expensive holiday this year, as 17 per cent are actually planning to spend less. Half of these holidaymakers have less spare cash to spend on a holiday with everyday living costs continually going up.

Despite the economic climate, some holidaymakers are still choosing to splurge out whilst away. One in ten (12 per cent) are planning on splashing out on excursions, such as fishing trips or a diving experience, whilst 44 per cent will spend the majority of their budget on eating out.
