Latest research reveals that 73% of British women believe size matters when it comes to being fashionable with 75% saying that they do not believe that you can be both plus-size and fashionable.

Research also shows that 90.8% of women strongly believe that larger ladies should be proud of their appearance and should not be afraid of wearing bright colours and fashionable styles but 41.9% also said that it is difficult to find larger-sized clothes in the latest fashions.

Projections suggest that 36% of men and 28% of women will be obese by 2015 and this figure will almost double again before 2050.

. Introduction:

Whether rightly or wrongly, Brits are getting larger and according to women, size matters when it comes to being fashionable. Although the majority of us believe that larger ladies should be proud of their appearance, just under half of larger ladies said it is difficult to find clothing the right size in the latest fashions. This may account for why the latest research indicates three quarters of all women do not believe it is possible to be both plus-size and fashionable.

Why do we believe that larger women should be proud of appearance and still reject the belief that fashion and larger sizes can work?
