In the wake of the travel chaos caused by the erupting Icelandic volcano new research reveals that 76% are planning to holiday in the UK this year.

Brits were polled on their travel motivations and 55% of those polled said they are keen to visit a film location for a movie filmed in the UK.

The poll shows that the top ten movies that were filmed in the UK is topped by The Full Monty, The Italian Job, the Harry Potter films, Gladiator and Braveheart.

In the wake of the travel chaos caused by the Volcanic Ash Cloud new research reveals that 76% of Brits are planning to holiday in the UK and surprisingly more than half of us (55%) are planning to visit a film location while away. The research reveals the top ten movie locations that Brits would like to visit and a route has been created for holiday makers to visit 23 film locations of 39 films including all of the top ten films.
