The ‘blues’ is a genre of music that has strongly influenced almost all of today’s popular music including jazz, country, and rock and roll and continues to help shape music worldwide as well as modern day artists such as Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Tom Jones and Paolo Nutini.

Mississippi, USA has produced the largest number of influential and important blues artists in music history and is still considered the emotional heart of the blues for musicians, fans and travelers.

The Homemade Jamz Blues band are a sibling trio of brothers Ryan and Kyle and little sister Taya, all the way from Tupelo, Mississippi, who are living proof that the dynamic and thriving Blues scene is still alive, a hundred years after its beginning. They were the youngest band ever to compete in the International Blues Challenge, taking 2nd in a field of 157 bands.
