Take The Leap: - 2 weeks until No Smoking Day!

Watch out boys... girls across the country are preparing to get down on one knee and pop the question in line with leap year tradition. ...Or are they??
Well, new research has shown that over half of us would have doubts about tying the knot to a smoker... & a whopping 75% of us want our partners to be smoke-free, regardless of wedding bells.
This has prompted the British Heart Foundation to PROPOSE (note pun) that smokers 'take the leap' in line with No Smoking Day, which falls on the 14th March. Two thirds of smokers want to give us. If you're one of them, you have two weeks to prepare yourself for the day which sees most addicts kick the habit.
We all know smoking is bad for us... but let's put in context. 100,000 people die every year from smoking related diseases. And 1 in 2 smokers will die because of their habit. Children growing up amongst smokers are three times as likely to smoke themselves... and the passive smoke can have a detrimental effect on their health too. Not only that, it's an expensive and antisocial habit. And now we hear it can even impact your love life! All the more reason, to perhaps think about giving up.
As an ex-smoker myself, it can be tough to quit. There is some excellent advice on the Take The Leap website: http://www.taketheleap.co.uk/
