From Kate’s hair to Will’s proposal I think it’s fair to say the nations obsession with everything Royal Wedding has spiraled out of control.

Despite seeing union jacks every time I blink at the moment and with tacky memorabilia coming out of our ears it is rather endearing the way the nation has embraced the couple.

So you can imagine how excited I was finding myself in the studio with Creative Director of Garrard, the Crown Jewelers for 150 years who designed the heirloom ring that was Diana’s and is now on Kate’s finger, her ‘something blue.’
