The tag line of the session today, given graciously by Mike Dilger of One Show fame, is 'Grey Squirrels are like GI's. They are big bullies, over sexed and over here!'

We are, of course, talking about a new campaign that is being launched today to try and protect and save the furry, bushy tailed critters that are Red Squirrels. One species becomes extinct in the UK every year, and it's about time we did something to preserve our heritage and rolling fields before it's too late!

Personally, I'm not a fan of the Grey Squirrel. They are obnoxious little critters and are getting far to big for their boots in the various London parks dotted around. On a morning run I nearly had a punch up with one of the little blighter's when it wouldn't budge off the path.

But that's another story for another day.
