Exhaustion From Work Means 4 in 10 Parents Are Failing To Consider The Safety Of Their Own Children

It seems such a simple thing to turn away from a child in the bath or near a window for just two minutes to grab something but those two minutes can sometimes make all the difference if simple safety measures haven't been put in place.

This Child Safety Week thousands of children could be at serious risk of accidents as four in ten parents admit that exhaustion from work means they are failing to consider the safety of their own children. The Child Accident Prevention Trust research shows that 5% of parents actually take no precautions in the home whatsoever with only one in ten tying blind cords out of reach.
