Dental Complaints Service

Today we are in the studio with Derek, Prentice, Chair of the Dental Complaints Service Advisory Board.
The body which looks into problems with private dental care has today revealed that private dental complaints are up by 17% (Between May '11 and April '12)
Currently in its sixth year, the Dental Complaints Service dealt with more than one thousand eight hundred complaints in the year to April 2012 - resolving two thirds of those in less than a week.
Receiving over fourteen thousand calls in just 11 months; the DCS deals with complaints about private dental care and will refer NHS patients to the right body. Many cases usually result in an apology, a refund or remedial treatment.
So, with patients admitting they sometimes feel ignored and let down, what are the options when we are unhappy with our private dental treatment?
