We're in studio this morning talking about the reality that Britain could be facing a dire shortage of science, technology, engineering ad maths skills. Nearly half (43%) of businesses already report difficulty recruiting people skilled in this area!

A shocking stat that highlights the crisis we may be facing is that almost a quarter (22%) of all 16-19 year olds are functionally innumerate.

SAS UK have decided to do something about this shortage and have developed a free software package SAS Curriculum Pathways which is an online interactive resource for students, teachers and parents to help them improve their maths and science skills and results.
