BMI: BM... what now?

I'm in the studio with two lovely ladies; Fiona Kirk, nutritionist and best selling diet author, and Astrid Longhurst, Body Confidence Coach. Both beauties have teamed up with the Vitality Show, which kicks off on the 22nd March - and we've got some shocking statistics relating to BMI awareness and weight issues.
So the question of the day: How can we find our happy weight? Well, BMI is a good place to start. BMI, 'body mass index', is a guide used by the NHS to determine whether a person is of a healthy weight for their size. 'Skinnies-minnies', often perceived as being healthier than those carrying more weight, can actually have an unhealthy BMI despite their smaller shape.
Shockingly, 59% of people in England have an abnormal BMI - that is to say, they're either overweight or underweight; both of which have negative consequences. It's not all about fitting into those skinny jeans; it's important to be healthy and happy on the inside.
So for anyone concerned about their body shape, head along to the Vitality Show and check out your BMI! Astrid and Fiona will be on standby to answer any questions you have! It'll be a great day out full of pampering... More info here http://www.vitalitylive.co.uk/
