Today Chris, Jay, Dan and I are dipping our toes in the world of Outside Broadcast - an IMN first!

We're here and all set up in our pop up radio studio (at a time when even the birds aren't awake yet) waiting for our very first interview to dial in. Even at 7am in the morning the atmosphere is buzzing - the stalls are set up, remote control cars are bumping ankles in the halls, hand controlled helicopters are whizzing by, inflatable Darleks are making their entrance and a giant Playmobile figure is standing guard outside the lego exhibit...

This is the fair where all the biggest and best toys of 2012 are unveiled and shown to the trade and the press, if you want to know how much Christmas is going to cost you, then this is the place to be.

But we won't be enjoying the toys (well, not for another couple of hours at least) as we're tucked away in the corner of the press office, biting our fingernails, waiting for the first beep of the ISDN box....
