The benefits of mystery shopping are no mystery!

I'm in studio today with the lovely SImon Boydell from Retail Eyes talking about mystery shopping and the importance of the customer experience.

As the Freedom of Information Act reveals a year and a half absence in mystery shopping in the financial services industry - sector experts are questioning why nothing has been done to protect consumers in this lucrative field. There are well over 20 thousand mystery shopping visits a month in the retail sector alone so today we're talking about why the financial industry has been so neglected by the FSA.

It seems that everyone benefits from mystery shopping - the business or retailer get's a real insight into how their customers rate their product or service while the customer gets to benefit from an improved experience!
